Deadline for 2012-13 Self-Assessment is approaching fast!
Did you know the deadline for electronic submission of the Self Assessment information for 2011/2012 for self employed is on 31/01/2013?
As well if the tax calculations show that you have to pay HMRC the 31/03/2013 is the deadline for paying the first instalment of tax. If you fail to submit the information and/or to pay part of tax owed you risk getting financial penalties with the first one in the value of £100.00. The amount of penalty will increase as the time goes by and you fail to satisfy the information requests of HMRC.
